Nice example of an Austrian Hand Painted Terracotta Tobacco Jar, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century. The main body modelled as a North African Moroccan young boy wearing a tasseled felt style hat and a buttoned jacket. Condition: Superb for such an early piece, no losses anywhere, possibly never used. Impressed mark at base R 810.
